Built with the same award-winning last on the lace-up Testarossa climbing shoe La Sportiva's Venom shoe features the same slip- and lace-free fit and comfort found on previous Cobra climbing shoes. This shoe edges in like no other shoe I've ever climbed in! The more you climb in these the more you like them! The first two days you climb in these you realize how much they stick to tiny edges. The heel tends to slip off of holds if you don't get them small. I wear 38.5 Testarossas but I think 38 works good for these.

They have lasted me a while and aren't falling apart prematurely anywhere. The stretchy upper has held well and hasn't lost it's retention against my foot to stay tight. The only problem but occurs with just about every slipper is the heel. Most of the time I can heel with no problem but on those really hardcore heels with a lot of pressure I can slip. Never had the heel pop out just slip a bit. Make sure you keep the shoe dry and not slimey and the heel should hold better.
