Men's Afterburner Jacket

Bought this jacket as a gift for my 23 year old son in Texas who traveled to central Michigan over the holidays. He had asked for the North Face equivelent but was very pleased with the performance of this jacket.

Great jacket!!!
I just received and love it. It's roomy enough to layer a warm fleece underneath if needed. Fit is perfect in XL. I'm 6'1/2 215 and it 's is perfect fit enough at the cuff length. This will be my go to jacket for cool hikes in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Sierra's. I also have a Denali by The North Face. This is going to be warmer and more windproof. Wouldn't have got the Denali if I had this first, since the wind goes right thru the Denali fleece. Get his for hiking, Mtn Biking, Snowshoeing and you'll be happy.

Great Jacket
The Afterburner was my first "Windstopper" jacket and it has exceeded my expectations. I wear the jacket in the high desert areas of Southern California where the wind just howls in the winter. The Afterburner is very effective at stopping the wind and keeping me warm. In a light rain, the Afterburner works well in shedding the rain. The quality of the jacket is very high, seams, zippers and materials are all very robust. I especially like the Velcro closure on the cuffs. By adjusting the closure, it is possible to tailor the jacket sleeve length. Now that I own this jacket, I think I will be leaving my old fleece jacket and outer shell in the closet.
