Since our kid was born in May we've used this suit more often than not on our daily walks here in southcentral Alaska. It keeps my boy dry in all but the worst downpours and is especially useful at blocking wind on those blustery days. It is more versatile than a snowsuit as you can easily customize your insulation layers and use the suit outermost. I'd recommend it to anybody who isn't afraid to take their infant outside. You'll also want to invest in a tube of Aqua-Seal or similar seam-sealing substance to further waterproof the suit as the seams are not taped or otherwise sealed at all.

This made a wonderful baby shower gift. For friends that live in the rainy NW and love outside activies this was the perfect gift. They love it and use it all the time. They say it keeps their "bundle of joy" dry and warm on rainy / windy days.
