Finally convertible pants with longer shorts that don't make me feel like I'm wearing running shorts or playing basketball in the 1980's! The 32 inch inseam seems to be a long 32 inches which fit me perfectly. They are very comfortable and quick drying. I haven't had them long enough to really test long-term durability but no snags or pulls on the fabric yet. Nice roomy pockets and the adjustable cuff on the legs is very handy. These have become my favorite go-to pants. I will be getting another pair.

I wear a Mountain Hardware Canyon pant/short in large but the Mesa was too small in the large. I sent it back and the X-large was too big. Sent that back. Otherwise the material was excellent and the padding on the waist was super comfortable perfect for backpacking. The reason I love their Canyon pants is the integrated belt doesn't interfere with pack belts.

Light but strong. Dry quick. Nicely organized pockets belt etc. Excellant for light backpacking and the shorts are longer than most so you don't have to look like you're from the 70's when you wear convertible pants.
