Men's Tanglewood Softshell Pant

quality pants - great for biking
i've been using the pants past week in NY commuting 30 min each way to work. Temps in 40s - the pants have been ideal. I feel they will go down to 30s no problem. I work at a bank in manhattan and could not arrive in tights, so I originally got the pants because they are almost indistinguishable from slacks. Yet on the bike, they are very functional - the velcro on ankles works well (I ride a racing bike). The fit is slightly loose, not baggy, so riding is not impaired in any way. The waist both snaps and has built-in belt - this has worked out well so far (it's only been a week, so time will tell).

Awesome pant
Wore these on a 30 day mountaineering trip to the North Cascades. Never took them off and they held up great. Not a single rip or tear even when bushwhacking. The fabric is water resistant enough to keep you dry in a light drizzle, and they keep you warm enough if you are moving. I would highly recommend these pants.
