This is the softest hat I've ever touched and it's just as insulating as you'd expect a fleece hat to be. It's a little large for my (somewhat small-ish) head though.

Stretchy comfy soft and definitely warm as you'd expect from a fleece fabric. It's short and yet long enough to cover my ears as well so I wouldn't need to wear ear muffs.
