Customer Reviews for the MSR Deluxe Dromedary Bag
Best Dromedary I've Found
I have this in 3 sizes and couldn't ask for more. It is completely bulletproof and I am not afraid to just throw it on top of my gear in my pack. Adds some taste, but no more that any other hydration pouch I've used. I wouldn't switch if I already had a pouch, but if you need one this is definitely the way to go.
Useful camping tool
I bought the 6 liter bag, and brought it along backpacking with only one Nalgene water bottle. I can purify about 4 bottles worth of water at once when I get to camp and then I don't have to mess around with the water filter any more after that. Also, with this bag I can fill it up with water then camp somewhere that's not nearby a water source.
Excellent Bladder
I took this backpacking and it was such a great accessory. The cord that runs along the edge of the bladder allowed me to hang it from branches for easy dispensing and the multiple spout options allowed me to regulate the flow. Once empty it rolled up and tucked nicely in a small pocket in my pack- much better than hauling empty Nalgenes or plastic bottles. I only wished that it had a cap tether similar to the Camelback reservoir so I would not be able to lose the cap in the future.
