Mountain Safety Research Titan Titanium Mini Cookset Mountain Safety Research: Titan Titanium Mini Cookset

The lightest of lightweight cookset designs--a shade under 11 ounces.

When every ounce matters nothing delivers better functionality per ounce than MSR's Titan Mini Cookset. Made from titanium the Titan Mini is stronger than aluminum pots and 45% lighter than similarly sized stainless steel cooksets. Everything in MSR's Titanium collection is modularized so you can expand your culinary collection while nesting new pots kettles and other components inside one another--which means you're saving space as well as weight. The Mini is ideally proportioned for single servings and minimalists who need a good hot meal on the trail.

Great Backpack cook set! Image: 5 Stars

The MSR mini Titan cookset replaces my older MSR aluminum cookset. It has shaved almost an entire pound of weight from my backpack load yet is plenty sturdy. I haven't cooked with it yet (that's next month) but expect no problems with it. Anything which makes my hike burden lighter is a good thing! I've trusted MSR products for over 10 years. Nice little ditty sack and pot clasp.

I took this pot set out replacing my old set. i saved at least a pound which as we all know adds up. worked very well. only issue was that it was a little small for my drangonfly stove. I had to carry the wind shield on the outside of the pot in the little sack. all and all two thumbs up

good cookset be sure to have something in the pot when heating ie. water to take or you risk damaging any pot and let teh outside blacken and it will increase heat transfer

My husband and I love this ste. Our old aluminum was heavier harder to clean and stayed hot when removed from the stove. Our stove nests inside easily. With names like MSR and Altrec you just can't go wrong

I've had these pots for over a year and I love them! For 1-2 people these pots are great. Considerably lighter than my aluminum MSR pot set and boil water just as good. It's a pitty that the lid can't be used as a frying pan so I bring along the lid from my aluminum set. Note that once the titanium pots have been removed from the stove they cool very quickly so you can hold them in your hands & eat right out of them (unlike with the aluminum pots where you need a pot holder to hold the pot). The food inside them stays hot though. Always have the red lift- tab on the lid "up" as to not melt the plastic coating . Since the metal of these pots is thinner than aluminum only place them over a flame with something in the pot to tramsfer the heat to or you could risk damaging the pot bottoms. GREAT POT SET!
