If you want a freestyle ski boot but you don't want the extra stiffness the Nordica Flash Ski boot offers a little more flex than the stiffer Ignition and Spark. Before anybody dismisses it as a recreational skiing boot check out the Nordica Flex index--at 70 it's a step up from anything approaching recreational so you can still count on performance on twin tips with lower swing rates and other pipe platforms. Like the more expensive Nordica Ignition freestyle boot the Flash has an integrated suspension specifically made for dominating terrain monstrosities. It also has the cool stuff like a Full Shock Eraser wedge that helps you take on hard landings with less stress. The suspension acts as an interface between your foot and the ski for better stability and turn initiation--especially on trick twins. Like Nordica's midrange Spark this Flash boot has a Comfort Fit FSE liner and Comfort Fit foot bed but the one thing you won't find is the Hard/Soft flex adjuster found in Nordica's other freestyle boots. That's because the Flash is for those who want all the flex they can find in a freestyle fit--without giving up any potential for pulling sick tricks.
