Usual top-notch Oakley optics. Lowest light transmission of all Oakley lenses. I like this lens in my A-Wires so bought these for my 1/2 Jackets. Although the Altrec product description doesn't list it they are irridium coated (the only way Oakley offers polarized lenses). While I prefer the better protection of the larger XLJ lens size when cycling the smaller regular lens is adaquate and is better for hiking and general use - allows more air circulation than the XLJ and in my opinion looks better.
