Customer Reviews for the Emergency Portable Weather Radio
meets all expectations
I have been wanting a weather radio w/ advisory alert for a long time and I am not disappointed w/the choice of Oregon Scientific. Contrary to previous review, I think the AAA battery replace is the best choice for when I travel. No need to worry about another device to charge At home, it looks nice in the cradle and ac plug and wire length are good. There is nothing in the function or set up that gave me any problems. The owner's manual/instructions are perfectly clear. At $50 it is pricey, but there is value in it. A note about the company. We also have a weather station made by OS and while still under warranty it developed a bug in the transmitter. Dealing w/warranty returns/replacement was no hassle at all, and the unit has performed perfectly since. Good company, good products.
