Attach it to larger models for greater capacity or wear it on its own for shorter journeys.

Increase the capacity of your Osprey backpack with the Osprey Solo Daypack. This auxiliary pack attaches to larger Osprey packs giving you the option to take it off for shorter excursions from camp. Redesigned for 2007 it now offers a Spacer Mesh harness to keep you cool and dry. Stuff it with extra clothes to make a great pillow. For a larger option be sure to consider the Osprey Daylite Backpack.

Works well for cycling, but doesn't carry much Image: 5 Stars

For riding in the street with a light load this can't be beat. It'll not carry a lot but what you need - a small lock fresh shirt etc. fit fine. It sits low and is narrow enough that if you look back it doesn't muck with your vision a boon in traffic. There were attachment buckles so I added straps across the top and bottom should I want to take my helmet off and clip it to the back or carry something larger. Works great. The only downside is limited cargo space - compared to a large traditional backpack or messenger bag -- and a lack of any interior pockets - it's one big pocket essentially. But it's light and rides right on the road and doesn't interfere with dodging cars.

Me and Smudge (my Terrier) run everyday and the backpack is perfect. Enough to fit my water bottle keys phone and his fabric bowl. We love it.

If you own an Osprey pack to attach this one to or even if you don't this is an all-around Grade A backpack. I use to go running with my dogs (carry water dog bowl poop bags) or go hiking in the woods looking for plants (water plastic bags GPS field guide) or just about anything. It's super comfortable very light and breathable will fit neatly under your rain shell if it is raining and do just about everything well but cook breakfast.
