Outdoor Research Men's WINDSTOPPER® Gripper Glove Outdoor Research: Men's WINDSTOPPER® Gripper Glove

Highly compressible windproof gloves for running backpacking and tight storage spaces.

Designed to insulate your fingers in breezy conditions while hiking running backpacking and Nordic skiing the Outdoor Research Gripper Gloves feature warm and windproof WINDSTOPPER® fleece insulation backed with rugged Suregrip palm reinforcements for abrasion resistance. The lightweight and compressible construction make the Outdoor Research Gripper Gloves a superb choice for tight storage situations especially if you're limited to the diminutive confines of a backpack or kayak (consider the combined weight and required space of windproof glove shells and fleece liners and you'll see what we mean). A tapered wrist configuration minimizes heat loss by keeping warm air trapped inside the gloves.

I bought these for late fall trips and lost them to my husband. Nice windstoppers when the weather is cold and dry. As usual Altrec provided incredible service.

I use these gloves exclusively for moose hunting and almost all my outdoor activities in Alaska. They are not good at below zero temps or if it's pouring rain but for the most part I have not found a glove that fits me better and performs better in the woods. They are tough and quiet and very comfortable to shoot with. I love the fact I have good dexterity while wearing these gloves. I own 3 pair and keep one in the pockets of all my outdoor jackets.

Fantastic glove; warm dry and comfortable. Works well in all weather situations whether snowshoeing or backpacking

Great gloves for paragliding Image: 4 Stars

I use these gloves for paragliding and they work really well. They are a tad bulky/loose fitting but do an excellent job at keeping the wind out and my hands warm and protected. Best out of 5 or so different pairs of gloves I've tried so far!

Long Lasting and Great for Barns Image: 5 Stars

I've had a pair of these gloves since 1999 and they have finally worn out with holes in fingers. They are outstandingly warm and dry without bulk--it's easy to buckle a horse halter while wearing them and they withstand years of stall shoveling wheelbarrow pushing bucket lifting.
