Protect yourself from the sun and keep your head dry with the Prism Cap™.

This thick waterproof yet breathable cap will keep the sun from your eyes and off of your neck while keeping your head dry on those rainy days. The Gore-Tex® PacLite® fabric of this Outdoor Research Prism Cap™ wicks the sweat from your head keeping you dry. The tricot lined crown and earflaps keep you warm and when its too warm the flaps fold up to let some breeze in.

I have not had an opportunity to wear it in the conditions it is designed for. I found the craftsmanship to be what I expected from Outdoor Research. Durable no loose stitching. Appearance is nice. If winter or better yet a good rain ever comes I will have an opportunity to wear it. (Very dry in the Northeast). I did get the largest size and it does just cover my dome so be wary of the sizing.

Extremely portable and light weight. You almost don't know you are wearing it. Typical Outdoor Research high quality. A must for everyone.

Nice quality. The L/XL is more like a S/M. Beware of the size.

Good, practical cap for inclement conditions. Image: 5 Stars

The day I received cap it was raining and was a football game night. Performed as advertised. For the price it is hard to beat.

sized worked for my 7+5/8 head Image: 5 Stars

I was a bit worried about the sizing based on reading other comments but just received my L/XL and it fits my 7+5/8 head without a problem. It doesn't have much room to spare (it's not loose on my head) but I'm perfectly happy with the fit. The ear flaps are not as thick as I expected so it's not such a big difference with them tucked in. Hopefully the ear flaps are still sufficient to keep my ears warm but in the mean time it's nice that they aren't too thick.
