I wear my hat to work almost everyday. I use it when I work on aerial signs. It does a good job of keeping the sun off my face and neck. As a lady I do not want sun damaged skin. This hat helps a lot. It fits under my hardhat however my head gets a little warm when I do that but it beats having the sun shining in my face.

Because I am bald I sweat and eventually ruin my ball caps. Not only do I get more sun protection the sweat wicks away and does not stain the material.

I do everything outdoors. My doctor told me to drop the baseball caps and get something that protected my ears. I sail bike fish camp trek and everything else. I needed something that would stay on my head in wind and rain. This is the one perfect hat I own. Just back from sailing for three weeks in Greece - wore it every day now I feel naked without it.

The brim on this hat has a slight downward slope which improves the coverage without having to make the brim too large. Perfect. Plus I like the removable strap.
