I've only worn them once skiing. I wore the shell with a glove insert. My hands were warm all day.

I chose this product because of its length. I am a snowboarder it is important for me to keep the snow out when I fall in powder. It is waterproof and warm. What I don't like all that much is the rigidity. If they were a bit more flexible it would help tremendously to handle the bindings.

Love the versatility of these gloves. I can put hand warmers in (comfortably) for cold skiing days or I can remove the inner lining and replace with a lighter glove. Also like the fact that the inner liner can be removed for laundering.
