Versatile lightweight breathable sock with the benefit of chlorine-free merino wool for comfort.

A worthy companion to a hardscrabble trail. Cool and breathable our hikers feature a variable-knit felted merino wool construction under the foot to disperse heat and cushion hard knocks. The welt is snug to reduce slippage; an arch band adds support. A combo of fibers improves moisture control and airflow: 62% chlorine-free merino wool 23% nylon 12% polyester 3% spandex. Length from heel to welt is 8.5". Formfitting.

I bought several pairs of these and wore them for the length of my John O Groats to Lands End walk last fall; with a pair of midweight hiking boots and temps in the 50s-70s they were just right. As another person noted they did get fuzzy/pilly but no holes yet and with the ironclad guarantee you can return them if they do sprout holes.

Good bye tube socks! Image: 5 Stars

These socks beat the white tube socks that have been worn for years. The extra cost pays off without question. I'll never go back to the 10 pack!

I wore these socks this weekend while snowshoeing. I was wearing my salomon trail runners and these socks while breaking trail and they seemed to keep my feet nice and toasty. I little concerned that they aren't going to last a long time because they are starting to get a little fuzzy. They are super warm and itch free!
