Patagonia Men's Huckleberry Shoe Patagonia: Men's Huckleberry Shoe

Eco-friendly footwear designed specifically for bouldering. Made from recycled materials.

Make no mistake about it--we love the Patagonia Huckleberry. It's not just because of the eco-friendly design or the exceptionally comfortable Poli-Cork footbed. The Huckleberry gives outdoor enthusiasts pure bouldering functionality with specific edging and smearing zones along the Vibram sole. While a lot of manufacturers offer approach shoes or climbing shoes it's tough to find bouldering-specific footwear that you can wear from the parking lot to the top of the scramble and back. Patagonia's Huckleberry gets all the features right with a rugged Perwanger leather upper reinforced climbing toe and external counters for edge hold. Like other Patagonia footwear the Huckleberry also has plenty of earth-friendly components like midsoles made with 15% recycled EVA material and recycled Poliyou foam in the footbeds. The Vibram bouldering sole even has a special Ecostep compound made with up to 30% recycled rubber.

These Shoes Rock! Comfort of a tennis shoe with the support of a boot. I wore them all over the city the day I got the shoes and they didn't even need to be broken in. Very comfortable walking all day. Great for my work very quiet sole (I work in field sound recording) and comfortable even well beyond a 12 hour day of work. And the funky forest green to boot!

These shoes are very comfortable as expected from Patagonia. Very durable too. The only complaint is that they are a little tight on my instep and slip in the rear unless tightly laced. Great for walking and hiking.

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Lightweight yet rugged. They still look like the day I got them. I've received many compliments about them too.

I’ve been really happy with my Huckleberries Image: 5 Stars

I had been wearing La Sportivas as “approach” shoes for years but they tended to break down pretty quickly. The Huckleberries don't have quite as sticky rubber but have held up really well and the footbed is stiffer which is welcome for Sierra hiking. I’ve been wearing them about 5 months and they look almost new. On a recent trip to Chile I had a heavier pair of hiking boots but ditched them when I found the Huckleberries were lighter better in the mud and more comfy. Great to see Patagonia making a shoe that works for backcountry or catching a movie.

This shoe has it all. Great looks comfortable fit solid construction. Laces stay put and the heel pull strap is high quality that feels like it will last and last. The grip and construction are great for a walk down the street or a scramble in the rocks. Wider feet are a close fit. Hope Patagonia keeps these around as I will buy a second pair.
