High-loft insulation that cuts straight to the chase our Micro Puff Vest gives warmth where it matters most. It also uses earth-friendly materials ? the shell and insulation are made from recycled polyester. The windproof water-resistant shell and lining and the compressible warm-when-wet synthetic insulation form a durable and toasty package. The insulation won?t clump separate or drift thanks in part to the interior quilting design. The main zipper is DWR (durable water repellent) treated. With invisible zippered pockets and an interior zippered chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack (with clip-in loop). Quilted side panels add to the feminine shaping. Regular fit.

Actually got this for a trip to Patagonia. Hands-down the best investment of the trip; wore it everyday in all kinds of weather. Really is windproof - great against Patagonia's winds. Didn't really test it in heavy rain but it held up in light sprinkles. Wore it under rain jackets over thin layers and even over heavier fleeces. It slides on and off easily b/c of the polyester lining. Keeps you warm without overheating in high-output activities and not bulky (in fit or in packing). It has handy zipper pockets (one on inside two on outside). I will definitely wear back in the city too.
