Good gloves - for what a beginner's opinion is worth
After reading various online reviews, I decided to buy these as part of my starting equipment for beginning my first serious attempt at bicycling (mainly for commuting purposes). The gel pads seem comfortable and durable. The area over the back of the hand is a very light, mesh material that is highly breathable. My only concern is that such light material may easily tear. Something important I was grateful to learn by reading other reviews was that THE GLOVES MAY BE MUCH SMALLER THAN EXPECTED OF THE LABELLED SIZE. I consider myself to have average to larger-than-average sized hands. I ordered the extra large size, and it fits well, with possibly only a negligibly larger fit. I recommend reading a number of other online reviews from more experienced cyclists.
