Lighter and more compact than the featherweight Tikka headlamp the waterproof Zipka Plus features a retractable strap that can be attached to your head arm legs pack pole or whatever works to help you find your way or do your work in the dark. It has a waterproof design and a watertight rubber toggle switch that alternates between four light settings: High Medium Economy and Intermittent. The four LED lamps consume roughly one-tenth of the power used by a standard flashlight bulb and offer a lifetime of over 100000 hours (that's over eleven years of literally living in the dark--no pun intended). Even fully loaded with the included trio of AAA batteries the Zipka Plus barely nudges the scales at 2.2 ounces so it's ideal as an emergency essential even in the lightest of minimalist packs.

This is deffinately the best headlamp I'll ever own. You can barely feel it and it is very bright. It basically weighs as much as 3 AAA batteries and can fit into a pocket with ease. Its waterproof and it'll basically last forever. Great for the price!!

I work at a summer camp and this is ideal for carrying in my pocket until I need to pop it on. The different light settings are great for distance (bright) or not disturbing campers (dim). The strobe light makes for a little entertainment. Altrec got me a great price but even at full price it is a good investment.

functional take anywhere headlamp. Good for biking at night on flash mode will attach to anything. Can fit into a pocket but bright enough to read by.
