The synthetic fabric and weave flexes well and provides considerable insulation. I bought another after I wore the first one a few days.

Works great on a slightly chillier day w/ an UnderArmour Coldgear Mock & shell a bit heavier & thicker than my capilene & MH wicked shirts. Would definitely buy more!

Great activity shirt. I've used it for skiing as well as jogging. Performs great by itself in temps from 45-60. As noted before probably not the best fabric in warmer temperatures. I also have a similar shirt by Spyder that cost a good bit more but does not perform any better than the Salomon shirt. Salomon had better colors too. The only thing to be aware is the size of the neck. The stitching is tight with not much give. It's fine when wearing it but noticeable when putting over your head or taking it off. I think someone with a large head may have trouble with this.

This shirt is rock solid in both style and function. The fit is a little generous (if you're between a small and a medium go ahead and get the small you'll be fine). The shirt is definitely masculine in design but does everything the manufacturer says it will. Enjoy.

Im 5'9 155 and have an athletic build and found size M to be an excellent fit.
