Heelside and toeside turns come easier on a board designed to inspire not intimidate. That's why the designers at Salomon crafted their women's Lotus snowboard with new riders in mind. The Lotus is a female-specific directional-shaped board with a radial sidecut that helps it turn predictably on varied snow conditions even on changing terrain. Salomon's Lotus offers a stable and predictable flex that inspires confidence both heel-side and toe-side so new riders have a better chance mastering both turns with minimal mistakes. To help keep those beginners upright Salomon applied a Critical Edge Bevel to the edges de-tuning the sharp sides along critical zones at the tips and wide points for more predictable turning. Beneath everything is a low-maintenance S-Glide 900 base that offers excellent glide--even if you don't have time to apply wax or any sort of tuning prior to heading up to the mountains.
