I was concerned that these wouldn't be as comfortable as the thicker ones at the end of the day. They are! These socks have proven to me that the quality of the sock makes as much a difference as the thickness of it. I still love my heavier hiking socks but these work great too and work with my more formal shoes as well.

Great fit super comfortable;these socks are so superior to regular cotton socks because the inner lining keeps my feet warm and dry. Highly recommended!!!

Don't be distracted by how thin these socks are; they are very comfortable and work great in Florida's cold weather. However in really cold weather I would not recommend these socks. I use them in the summer (FL) and they keep my feet fairly dry. Overall EXCELLENT!

These socks are my favorite brand and the light hiker is my favorite weight. I can hang outside in the snow all day or around the house and my feet stay comfy.

i bought my son-in-law a pr of this brand of sock a year or 2 ago. he's a person of few words but he wanted to know where i got them as he said how much he really liked these sox - they're the best! "the best of any sox i've ever had!" he works outside (in a cold climate); but they're comfortable winter or summer. "i can't quite explain what it is about them" he said "they just FEEL good!" so i got him 3 pr for christmas 2007. i'll keep these on my list for him for future reference for sure.
