There really is nothing quite like wool for insulation. These bottoms work great as a first layer for layering with my xc ski gear. It gives me the warmth I like and the breathability of a natural fabric. It smells better than synthetic fibers as well. By using this layer you can avoid the bulk of heavier wool outer layers. It also washes and drys well. There's no itch either.

Product arrived in just a couple of days. I love the SmartWool bottoms. they are the perfect weight. They fit great with no pulling or binding. They have a nice finish so they don't have friction with my outer pants when kneeling or climbing. I highly recommend the product.
