My 8 year old son loves this fleece/jacket and wears it every day. It is just as warm as any winter jacket but not as bulky. My only complaint is the style. I have now ordered Mediums and Larges so it's not a question of ordering the wrong size. I just find this jacket very "short". My son's shirts tend to hang longer than the jacket. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to fit but I thought a larger size would mean a longer jacket but it doesn't. I bought the jacket on sale at the end of the season so even though I'm not thrilled with the length it was a great deal and my son loves it.
