i love my new bag...its great for lots of day trips and for day to day use expecially when im running around all day-i can put my school and work things in the bag and still have room. the straps have lots of padding so my shoulderhips and back dont hurt. has compartments for EVERYTHING!

I love this bag but after purchasing it I quickly realized that I will NEVER use it as a waist pack. It's a perfect size for daily use and for trips. I figured that I would tuck away the waist pack straps but it made the bag very bulky. I contemplated sending it back for about 2 seconds then decided to make some changes. I used an exacto knife to carefully cut the stitching and ended up completely removing the waist straps thus alleviating the bulk problem. I realize that North Face makes messenger bags but they don't have the structure this bag does nor the amount of pockets to organize my stuff. I love this bag now!!!!!!

I've been looking for a good fanny pack for a couple of years now. Finally came across the Northface Dayhiker and I LOVE it. Very spacious and well designed with compartments. Comfortable padding on the belt. Nice color choices! I even own the Northface Sport Hiker. (same design but smaller). Love them both!!

Had 2 reinforce stitching in a few areas and also reinforce waist belt to withstand weight of my gear. I always new I'd be a good designer! Hey North Face need a Maguaver on your crew?

This pack is the perfect combination of easy to carry hip belt which is big enough for plenty of stuff. I am using it both for day to day carrying and for bicycling. The colors are very nice I really love it
