The Varius Guide Jacket is a classic all-weather jacket with fortified shell. The interior jacket provides a good mid layer or could be worn by itself as a substitution for a fleece jacket. Jacket has plenty of pockets and one is specifically designed for a MP3 player. The hood works well over a helmet or can be removed if you do not want to use it. A versatile ski jacket for any condition.

Warm and very water proof wear it with the Denali fleece. Pockets have soft fabric in them that helps to keep hands warm. Worth the price.

Great jacket with pockets large enough to hold all of your three year old's stuff that he needs to discard down the mountian. Wasn't too warm for spring skiing yet cut the wind on the chair. A great affordable ski jacket.

Lightweight and Durable

An excellent and versatile jacket which is as good as a Gortex jacket. Its a perfect addition to your gear for an all around jacket that is used for mountaineering hiking and also climbing. The Core Vents are also a key part of staying comfortable when you start to sweat on those long hikes in the cold.

great jacket

Had this jacket for around a month now and have been able to put it through several tests. It's extremely waterproof as I got caught in several downpours and no part of the jacket leaked. The pit zips provide better ventilation than other jackets with core vents.
