These are some of the lightest rainpants I've ever owned. Easily packable in a day pack or even in a large pocket. They fold inside-out and zip up through the side pocket to make a compact package. I never thought it would be possible but they actually pack to about 7" x 4" size (and about an inch thick)!

I climbed Mt. Sajama in Bolivia using these pants and they worked great. They blocked all the wind the mountain could throw at me and kept my legs nice and warm. I'm going to buy another pair right now.

Breathable stays waterproof in pouring rain big plus points for metal-tooth zippers that won't break off teeth like the plastic zippers used by the competition. Packs down small but a little tough to stuff into the side pocket (this could be a little bigger). Perform great in Florida where heavy rain and high humidity are big issues.

i walk to and from work daily. living in maine the weather can change i love just having these in my pack to use on a rainy day or just a windy winter morning to keep the cold from chilling you to the bone.
