Great jacket! So versitile. Inner liner is warm on its own and the shell has already gotten me thru a couple of good downpours.

It is a great coat for warmth. It also keeps me quite dry in rain. I like how the collar zips so high to block the wind. I am disappointed in structure of the coat. The liner layer is only attached to the shell by a single snap. It makes it very awkward to put on and take off. If you can deal with that I would suggest buying this coat.

Shopping with altrec was a good experience. I received my order in a timely manner and was very pleased with the service. My only regret was that I could have gotten the same jacket at several other stores for $50 less if I had shopped earlier. Altrec was the only one with the color I wanted.

Best coat I've ever owned Image: 5 Stars

I've worn this coat in the rain sleet snow--stayed outside for hours in single digit temperatures with winds of 50-60 miles an hour-- I've NEVER been uncomfortable at any time in this fabulous coat. It was worth every penny. Sometimes I wear a tee shirt underneath when I'm walking my dog in 10 degree F weather and it still feels like comfortable room temperature inside the jacket. I didn't get the same color liner as in the picture though. (I bought the white coat and it came with a light blue liner instead of the tan one like in the picture.)
