Not made for those with a wider hip area. I received them and they did not fit well. Too small even with the measurements given. I was able to have another family member have them and they love the pants.

i wore them on safari for 5 days and they held up great rain or shine and didn't even look dirty at the end. they fit just fine and don't look bad on.

I love the Meridian convertible pants. I took a chance I'd love them and got them in two colors; I wasn't disappointed. They are light comfortable and are just what I wanted for travel in the summer.

I have 2 pairs of these... they are super comfy and convert to shorts capris or just pants. I have one pair in the Long length wish that I had gotten Long on both but the regular is OK. I am 5'8 and a size 3 to 5 in junior sizes so I got the small and it is plenty big.
