Freed from the traditional definitions of insulation our Slopestyles shine as both outerwear and baselayer. The surface of the 97% polyester and 3% organic cotton combo stands up to wind and snow; it has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed moisture. A soft interior of brushed fleece feels like cotton. For wind-scoured ridges the high collar generous hood and two handwarmer pockets protect exposed skin. Cool plaid patterns brighten grey skies.

I hike the mountains in Georgia as well as the back country and the Prophecy is a sure footed strong shoe. It is light and comfortable with various weights of socks. The laces and grommets plus the arch support are details of a well constructed dependable shoe. I have tender feet and in no way does this shoe have to be suffered through a breaking in period! My feet thank you.
