The best way to enjoy your time here is to get on the water. Take any of the boat tours on Lake Powell or try a float trip on the Colorado River. See page 46 for more information. All tours include a lively narrative describing Lake Powell and the area. If you prefer to go at your own pace, rent a boat for the day at any of the marinas.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely, Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the Canyon Princess, which departs from Wahweap. Other vessels are used for Sunset Cruises which are two hours long and do not include meals.
