
Grand Teton National Park
American Indians Guest Artists: May 18th-October 5th
Grand Teton National Park will be hosting their 34th annual program for American Indian artists. This program will give park visitors the chance to learn about the traditional and contemporary art forms of many different Indian tribes. Some of those tribes are Shoshone, Northern Cheyenne, Tarascan-Apache, Ogalala Sioux, and Navajo.
The art forms that will be demonstrated included beadwork, pottery, weaving, and musical instruments. The artists will being displaying their exhibit daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Grand Teton seeks to provide their visitors with a deeper appreciation for American Indian art and culture and the duration of the program allows for more visitors to do just that!
