Lake Shore Trail, located near Colter Bay, offers an easy two mile roundtrip hike. The trail follows the east and north shoreline of Colter Bay then follows the perimeter of a forested peninsula jutting into Jackson Lake, providing views of the northern part of the Teton Range.

Directions from Jackson: Travel north on Hwy. 191 to Moran Junction. At the Jct. make a left and travel five miles north west to Jackson Lake Jct. From Jackson Lake Jct. turn left and head north to the Colter Bay Visitor Center. The trail is part of this large tourist center.
