The Moose Visitor Center, located at Moose, offers restrooms, telephones, book store, maps, activity schedules, backcountry camping permits, boat permits, TDD (307) 739-3400, parking spaces, curb cuts, entrances, post office and store nearby. Exhibits feature the Greater Yellowstone Area and a rare and endangered species exhibitory and video room. The Visitor Center also features a 20-minute talk on a variety of topics. From the park's geologic story to learning about the variety of wildlife that call this park home. Many activities are accessible and are listed in the park newspaper, The Teewinot, also available at the Visitor Center. Their daily hours are: through June 4, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., June 5 through September 4, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., after September 4, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information call (307)-739-3399.

Directions from Jackson Hole: Travel north on Hwy. 191 to Moose Junction. The Visitor Center is 1/2 mile west on the Teton Park Road.
