Overview

The Grave Springs Campground is nestled in the southern end of the Bighorn Mountains. This area acquired its name as a result of a tragic incident where a sheepherder was murdered by his friend while they were both highly intoxicated, but the campground is very pleasant to visit today.

Driving

From Arminto, take the South Big Horn/ Red Wall Back Country Byway north 13.5 miles to Bighorn Mountain road. Turn left and go 12-miles north to the campground.
