Re: Camping this summer
Hi Joe,
Camping at Chain O' Lakes State Park in Indiana is open 24/7 from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Reservations are not required, and it's often possible to get a site when you arrive at the park. However, park officials always recommend reservations, especially for holiday weekends, which often fill up as early as six months in advance! You may make reservations online or by calling (866) 622-6746.
Check-in begins any time after 8 a.m., and check-out time is 2 p.m., except on Sundays and Holiday Weekends, when it is extended to 5 p.m.
A campground map and a full list of campground regulations is available from the Indiana Department of Nautral Resources.
We hope this information helps you with your trip. Please be sure to stop back to let us know how it goes.
In the meantime, if you know anyone else with questions about planning an outdoor adventure, send them our way!
