Overview

The Forest Park Picnic Area is a 10-acre park with two shelters. It is one of the most popular leisure sites in the city and is located just off Harrison Boulevard, west of Campbell Street. Ten picnic tables are provided for your use at these shelters. On the extreme west end of the park is an open play area suitable for ball games, frisbee, volleyball, or relaxing in the sun. Near the Rotary Shelter is a newly refurbished playground. Just a short walk to the east will bring you to Ogden Gardens and its unique floral displays, gazebo, memorial gardens, trees, and shrubs. Ten picnic tables are provided for your use at these shelters.
