Jacob Lake Campground

Most people come to this campground because it is located on the main access route to the Grand Canyon's North Rim 44 miles to the south . However, campers at Jacob Lake don't have to drive at all to take advantage of excellent opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing.

Location:
30 miles south and east of Fredonia at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67. Blacktop highways.
Elevation: 7920 feet

53 single unit sites with tables and cooking grills.

Nature trails.
Amphitheater.
Concession services are available nearby. Services include: gasoline, supplies, restaurant, telephone.

Fees:
$12 per vehicle per night up to 6 people per site; second vehicle $6.00. Group reservation fee for 1-35 people is $60.00 per night; 36-75 is $85.00 per night; and 76-100 is $100.00 per night. Tents, trailers and small motor homes are allowed, but there are no utility hookups available.

Fees are subject to annual adjustment. For group sites, they are charged from the first day any member of the group stays in the Group Camping Area and collected daily. Golden Age and Golden Access cards are not honored at the Group Camping Area. Check-out time is 2 pm of the last day reserved.

Season :
May 15 to November 1 (depending on snowfall).
