Lake Elwell
Overview
Tiber Dam and its reservoir, Lake Elwell, are on the Marias River in north-central Montana. The dam and reservoir are features of the Lower Marias Unit of the Pick-Sloan Missouri Basin Project. The reservoir has 17,678 surface acres and 181 miles of shoreline. Fishing and boating are population activities here. Major game fish include northern pike, walleye, and rainbow trout. Swimming and other water sports are also enjoyable activities here. Concrete boat ramps, campgrounds, marina, picnic shelters are available. Stop for lunch at along the lake shore or at one of the area's designated picnic areas. The area's seven campgrounds provide trailer sites, restrooms, water, and handicapped accessible restrooms. For RV users, there are electric hookups, as well as a dump station. Tiber Marina is open for food, gas, oil, water, showers, bait, tackle and others amenities applicable to marina operations. Come visit Tiber Dam and Elwell Lake to experience all that Montana big sky country has to offer!

Boating
Boat ramps, launch sites, and a marina provide access to the lake for motorized and non-motorized boats.
Camping
Camp at one of the area's seven campgrounds, where amenities include trailer sites, restrooms, water, and handicapped accessible restrooms.
Fishing
Major game fish include northern pike, walleye, and rainbow trout.
Hunting

Picnicking
Stop for lunch at along the lake shore or at one of the area's designated picnic areas.
