Located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, Sandy Beach Campground has plenty of outdoor recreation available nearby such as golf, fishing, hiking, swimming, whitewater rafting and bicycling. North Tahoe Regional Park is close by and a great place to stretch your legs.

Special Attractions: The Sandy Beach Campground is close to North Tahoe Regional Park, a great place to stretch your legs. Take a refreshing hike along the Mount Rose Trail or the Edward F. Dolder Nature Trail. The Truckee River is nearby and offers whitewater rafting during the rafting season. In the winter, head up to Northstar at Tahoe ski resort.

Directions

Take Hwy 50 north from South Lake Tahoe approximately 16 miles to the Junction of Hwy 50 and Hwy 28. Continue north approximately 10 miles to North Lake Blvd. Continue on North Lake Blvd. approximately 8 miles to the campground.
