Wilderness permits are NOT available for developed campgrounds. (Developed campgrounds are Manzanita Lake, Crags, Lost Creek Group, Summit Lake North, Summit Lake South, Southwest, Butte Lake, Juniper Lake, and Warner Valley.)

The areas named below are CLOSED TO CAMPING ¼ MILE IN ALL DIRECTIONS from the feature named.

Specific reasons for closure are shown by the corresponding number:
1. The area is too close to automobile access or developed areas.
2. The area is too fragile to sustain the impact of camping without damage occurring.
3. The day-use visitors in this area are too numerous to permit camping. Occupied campsites would reduce the amount of day-use space or activities possible or seriously interfere with them.
4. Terrain and/or vegetation barriers do not allow for suitable campsites.
5. The area shows signs of deterioration due to overuse.
