Ames Nowell State Park
Overview
Ames Nowell is a year-round day use area with recreational activity centered around Cleveland Pond which is popular with boaters and fisherman. Development includes a picnic area, ball field and several miles of trails along the pond edge and the surrounding woods.

Bicycling
Mountain biking is available on trails surrounding Cleveland Pond.

Hiking
Walking trails, with some areas of boardwalk, surround Cleveland Pond.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is possible around the pond.
Picnicking
There is a picnic area, pavilion, restrooms and ball field just beyond the parking area.
Winter Sports
In winter, visitors can cross-country ski on the network of trails through the park.

Driving
Ames Norwell State Park is located south of Boson in Southeastern Massachusetts.
From north or south: Take Rte. 3 to Rte. 18 South to Rte. 123 west for 1 block then follow signs to park entrance.
