Friends of Cochituate State Park

Friends of Cochituate State Park is a private, nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and supports DCR's efforts to improve and operate Cochituate State Park.

The Friends encourage responsible public enjoyment of Cochituate State Park. By bringing people together to share interests and activities, the Friends aspire to foster a sense of community and stewardship of valuable natural resources. Friends programs include recreation, education, advocacy and fundraising for park purposes.

Charles River Canoe & Kayak

The rental location, located within the park, offers hourly and daily rentals of canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, and rowboats, plus a Kids' Canoe & Kayak Summer Camp.

Directions

Driving

From East or West: Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. I-90) to exit 13, Rte. 30 east. Park is on the right.

From Mass Pike: Take the Mass Turnpike (Rt. I-90) to Exit 13 to Rt. 30 East. The park is ½ mile down on the on the right.

From Route 9: Follow Route 9 East or West to the Speen Street exit in Framingham. Go North on Speen Street. Follow Speen Street for 1 mile until you come to Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. Park is 200 yards down on the right hand side.
