This park offers a 100-car parking area and offers fishing, swimming and picnicking on 400 acre East Brimfield Reservoir. Lifeguards are available during on-season months (contact park for more information). Boating access is from ramps located on US Army Corps of Engineers maintained ramps on Route 20. Ramps are not located in the park. Non-motorized boats such as canoes and kayaks are permitted throughout the year.

The scenic park offers swimming areas patrolled by lifeguards during on-season months. The park is mostly wheelchair accessible allowing users to easily access fishing areas, restrooms, and picnic facilities which are close to the water. The park contains mostly paved sidewalks.

Please be cautious of the weather in the winter months. It can be quite cold. The park however though is mostly visitor during the fall, spring, and summer seasons because it permits visitors with more activities. In addition, fishing is usually better during these seasons.

  • Boating

    All types of boating is allowed. Boating access is from ramps located on US Army Corps of Engineers maintained ramps on Rt 20

    Fishing is allowed. Please contact the park for more information on fishing restrictions and permits.

  • Hunting

    Hunting is allowed, but has restrictions. Seasons are established yearly by the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife and a licenses is required. For more information, call 508-389-6300 or check out

  • Picnicking

    Picnicking tables are wheelchair accessible and are located close to the lake.

  • Water Sports

    Swimming is permitted and a lifeguard is on duty during the summer months.



The park is located off of Route 20 in south-central Massachusetts.

From the East or West: * Follow the Mass Pike (Route I-90) to exit 9 in Sturbridge. * Take Route 20 West. * After crossing over Route 148, look for signs to Streeter Point. * Park entrance is on the left.
