Marys Lake
Overview
Marys Lake Dikes, Colorado-Big Thompson Project, are 2 dikes on the shoreline of Marys Lake, 2 miles from Estes Park, Colorado. Recreation at the lake is managed by The Estes Valley Recreation and park district. The lake provides a number of recreational activities for visitors. There are 270 campsites to choose from for a great camping experience. The campground is developed and has many facilities to accommodate people seeking the great outdoors. The lake also provides a fun experience for picnicking and fishing, with rainbow trout being the main catch of the day. Marys Lake is also located only a couple miles from Estes Park which sports many activities such as a marina, aquatic center and golf course. The best time to visit is in the warmer months since the facilities at the lake are closed due to winter weather.

Camping
There is a developed campground with 270 sites available at the lake. There are also facilities and hook-ups for RVs.

Fishing
Rainbow trout are the most common fish caught at the lake.

There are three picnic areas available at the lake for visitor use.

The campground has sites available for RVs with full hook-ups.

Water Sports
Fishing is the primary water sport. However no boating is allowed.
