Clear Lake State Park

Park is located within the boundaries of Mackinaw State Forest, which covers the northern eight counties of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. This is elk country, and elk can be seen and heard throughout the area in the early morning and evening, especially during the spring and fall. The park also has a sandy beach with a shallow swimming area that makes it ideal for children.
