A sandy beach and a one-mile shoreline on Cass Lake makes Dodge #4 State Park an excellent location for summer and winter water activities. The land which now comprises Dodge #4 State Park was donated to the State of Michigan by the Dodge Brothers Corporation in 1922, under the stipulation that it always be maintained as a public park.

  • Boating

    The Cass Lake access site can accommodate 80 vehicles with trailers.

  • Fishing

    Year-round fishing has an excellent reputation for largemouth and smallmouth bass, pike, bluegill, perch and trout. Dodge #4 has recently added a universally accessible fishing pier on Cass Lake.

    No marked foot trailes, but hiking is encouraged.

    Shaded and sunny areas are available, along with picnic tables and grills.

  • Water Sports

    The one-mile shoreline and swimming area features a white, sandy beach.

  • Winter Sports

    Cross country skiing is a popular winter sport in thsi area.
