Overview

Located west of the confluence of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa Rivers at the end of Ashman Street. Access the park by crossing the Tridge or by using Golfside Drive off Currie Parkway. Chippewassee Park is a 35 acre recreational area that has something for all seasons. In the winter months, its size makes it a great place for cross country skiing. During warm weather, the park is one of the most popular in the city. It has a large picnic shelter that is available for rental. Picnic tables and grills are provided for use. The park has play equipment appropriate for children of all ages, huge open fields, and paved trails. Chippewassee Park is also home to the Trilogy Skate Park and the Dog Park. Chippewassee Park is known for its festivals and community events held during the summer including Riverdays and the Fourth of July, as it is a favorite location from which to watch Midland's fireworks.
